Meanwhile companies, Zakat and endowment funds, diaspora networks, public giving and earned income all fund nonprofits, and each one asks for something different. A crowdfunding campaign and an EU delegation grant are not the same job. Which of these your organization can actually hold depends on what it is built to do, and almost nobody has ever worked that out for you.

A crowdfunding campaign needs a story and the capacity to tell it. A corporate partnership needs reporting a company can put in its annual review. Institutional grants need financial systems and evidence of results. Zakat funding has its own eligibility rules. The seven capacities below are how the diagnostic works out which of these your organization can hold today, and which one is closest to reach.

Where the scoring comes from, and how current it is
The capacity model is built on published, peer-reviewed capacity-assessment research, and the methodology is public so you can check it rather than take our word for it. The funding rules come from documented regulator and donor sources, each one carrying the source it came from and the date it was last verified. Every score shows what it is based on and how confident the model is, so you can see the basis and tell us where we got it wrong.
What this is not
A prediction of whether you will win a grant. A validated psychometric test. A guarantee of funding. It is an indicative snapshot of organizational readiness and the funding that readiness opens. We would rather say that plainly here than let you discover it later.

How long does it take?

We are not formally registered. Can we still use it?

Could a funder see our report?
Only if you send it to them. We never share a report with a funder, and we never will without your explicit, revocable consent.
